June 26 -27, 2004 – Cub-Adult Overnighter At Camp Durant. The Cub-Adult Overnighter is an exciting Saturday afternoon and night of outdoor and water activities, a catered dinner and campfire, followed by a good night's rest on a cot in a Boy Scout tent at wonderful Camp Durant. http://www.pack334.org/public/docs/CampDurantCubAdultOvernighter.html
Aug. 22, Sunday – Baseball!
The Carolina Mud Cats will be playing the
Chattanooga
Lookouts at Mudcat Stadium. The game begins at 4:00 PM with
gates opening at 3:00. Pack 334 will have seats in section 210. Now is
the time to confirm your attendance with the Trail Boss (TrailBoss@Pack334.org).
We are planning on "forming up" as a group in the picnic area (look for picnic
tables outside of the stadium, by the pond). This area is normally for catered
picnics but will be made available to the pack if not in use. The availability
will be confirmed in the days just before the game. No outside food or drink is
allowed in the picnic area.

Nov. 20, Saturday - Day Event with Hike, William B. Umstead Park, 8801 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27612 (919) 571-4170. Event hours: 9:30 A.M.- 6:00 P.M.
This event is planned to follow the pattern of the Saturday portion of one of our weekend camp-outs. An entire day of activities will be available for those who wish to avail themselves of the opportunity to let the cubs spend some time in the woods. We have secured a large, covered shelter (http://www.pack334.org/public/docs/UmsteadPark.jpg) with fireplace and cooking facilities as our base or rally point for the day. Some of the leadership will arrive at 9:30 A.M. Our schedule of activities for the day will be:
09:30-11:30: Setup, fire building, free time, and fishing.
11:30-12:30: Lunch, Lunch, hot dogs, burgers, etc. Bring your own burgers, dogs, buns and other supplies.
12:30-01:30: Den time for those dens wishing to take advantage of the opportunity.
01:45-03:15: Hike on nearby trail.
03:30-05:30: Dinner, Hombre Stew (everyone please bring a can of soup, stew, or other cooked, canned item), followed by smores.
05:30-05:50: Clean-up
Must exit park by 6:00

Dec. 04, Saturday, 9:00 - 12:00, Leaders Only! Orientation at Blue Jay Point Park for use of Lodge. Reservations required. Contact Trail Boss.
Dec. 11, 12:00, Saturday - Day Trip / Hike at Blue Jay Point Park. Intrepid pack 334 hikers will travel to Blue Jay Point park for a special hike to view an inhabited beaver dam on Falls Lake. Activities will begin at noon at the "Blue Jay Center" with a talk by the Trail Boss on Beavers, their behavior and Habitat. Cubs will get to examine a real beaver pelt and skull. After the talk, the pack will hike down "Beaver Point Trail" to view the dam and possibly some beaver activity. After the hike the pack will meet back at "Blue Jay Center". MAP1 MAP2 Directions: Six Forks Road north, left turn at Bay Leaf to stay on Six Forks Road. Cross Falls Lake, turn right at top of hill.
