Oct. 22 & 23, Friday & Saturday nights - Camp Out, Falls Lake, Shinleaf campground.
Directions:
From St. Timothy's
School proceed North on Six Forks Rd. for approximately 7.5 miles. Six Forks
becomes Possum Track and a left turn must be made to stay on Six Forks. Proceed
approximately another 3 miles through the light at Hwy 98. Six Forks Rd becomes
New Light Road. Proceed about 1/2 mile to Shinleaf campground on the
right.

Arrival on Friday night must be before the gates close at 7:00
P.M.
Arrival on Saturday should be at least by 1:00 P.M., although an A.M.
arrival is recommended.
Den activities will be after lunch, followed by a
pack hike.
Trail to campsites is a smooth, wide downhill road. For the
non-backpackers wagons and wheelbarrows will work well and be helpful.
Scavenging wood is prohibited. Everyone please bring at least one piece of
wood.
The pack will cook Hombre Stew as one course of the evening meal.
Everyone wanting to participate should plan on contributing a can of soup, stew,
or other edible food. Please, no raw potatoes or other items requiring lengthy
cooking.
