ALL LEADERS ARE REQUIRED TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE CONTENTS OF THIS P.O.D.!

FIRE DRILL: EVERY CAMPER MUST PARTICIPATE IN A FIRE DRILL DURING FIRST NIGHT OF VISIT.  THOSE WHO DO NOT PARTICIPATE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CAMP ON BOARD BY ORDER OF THE STATE FIRE MARSHAL. CAMPERS SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE LOCATIONS OF FIRE EXITS!

FRIDAY 8 APRIL 2005

8:00 PM                   Movie “TORA! TORA! TORA!” in ship’s theater.

9:30 PM                   Troops assemble in assigned berthing quarters.

9:45 PM                   MANDATORY FIRE DRILL.  Complete cooperation is expected.

10:55 PM                 Tattoo.

11:00 PM                 Taps.  Camping Staff inspects all berthing quarters to assure Taps has been observed.

 

SATURDAY 9 APRIL 2005

6:20 AM                   Reveille.  Coffee Mess in Scout Duty Office.  (DONATIONS APPRECIATED!)

6:45 AM                   Meal Call - assemble by troop in front of large US Flag. Scout Duty Officer to coordinate.

7:00 AM                   Enter CPO Mess in following order: 405, 113, 109, 334.

8:15 AM                   Fort Sumter Tour Boat departs Patriots Point with these

                                troops onboard:  405, 113, 167 (75 persons  from P-167 will go on this trip).  (BOARD BOAT BY 8:00 AM)

8:30 AM                   Ship Store opens in the Pavilion at the head of the pier.

9:00 AM                   Clamagore, Ingham, Laffey opens to public.  Snack Bar opens.

9:00 AM                   Fort Moultrie opens.  Orientation film is shown every 30 minutes between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM. 

                                Admission: $2.00/Adult & $1.00/Child (6-11yrs.)

10:00 AM                 Palmetto Park opens.  Admission paper required.

10:00 AM                 SC Aquarium – visit scheduled for the following troops: 109.  (Depart PPDA by 9:15 AM)

1:00 PM                   Aviation Class – meets in the Smokey Stover Theater immediately following the movie.

1:00 PM                   Charleston Explorers – visit scheduled for the following troops: 334.  (Meet CE staff by 12:45 PM)

1:30 PM                   Fort Sumter Tour Boat departs Patriots Point with these

                                troops onboard:  74.  (BOARD BOAT BY 12:45 PM)

3:00 PM                   Charleston Explorers – visit scheduled for the following troops: 317.  (Meet CE staff by 2:45 PM)

3:00 PM                   Aviation Class – meets in the Smokey Stover Theater immediately following the movie.

5:45 PM                   Meal Call A - assemble by troop in front of large US Flag.  Scout Duty Officer to coordinate.

6:00 PM                   Enter CPO Mess in following order: 334, 109, 113, 405.

6:15 PM                   Meal Call B - assemble by troop in front of large US Flag.  Scout Duty Officer to coordinate.

6:30 PM                   Enter CPO Mess in following order: 167, 317, 74.

7:00 PM                   Aviation Video – ‘The Blue Angels – Bringing Naval Aviation Home to America’.

7:15 PM                   Historic Trails Program in ship’s theater.

8:45 PM                   MANDATORY FIRE DRILL following the Historic Trails program  Complete cooperation is expected.

9:15 PM                   Movie "The Fighting Lady" in ship's theater.

10:55 PM                 Tattoo.

11:00 PM                 Taps.  Scout Duty Officer prepares morning coffee mess.  Camping Staff inspects all berthing quarters to assure Taps has been observed. 

SUNDAY 10 APRIL 2005

6:20 AM                   Reveille.  Coffee mess in Scout Duty Office.  (DONATIONS APPRECIATED!)

6:45 AM                   Meal Call A – assemble by troop in front of large US Flag.  Scout Duty Officer to coordinate.

7:00 AM                   Enter CPO Mess in following order:  74, 317, 167, 113, 109.

7:10 AM                   Meal Call B – assemble by troop in front of large US Flag.  Scout Duty Officer to coordinate.

7:25 AM                   Enter CPO Mess in following order: 405, 334.

8:20 AM                   Church Call.

8:30 AM                   Church Service begins in the ship’s theater.  Silence to be maintained on deck during service.

9:00 AM                   Shipstore opens in the Pavilion at the head of the pier.

9:00 AM                   Clamagore, Ingham, Laffey open to the public.  Snack Bar opens.

·          FIRE DRILL: EVERY SCOUT TROOP WILL PARTICIPATE IN A FIRE DRILL UPON ARRIVAL.  SCOUTS AND LEADERS SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE LOCATIONS OF FIRE EXITS!
